‘Harry and Meghan’: Netflix releases trailer of most awaited docuseries about Duke and Duchess of Sussex

The trailer of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's highly-anticipated docuseries has been shared by the famous OTT platform Netflix. The trailer depicts Meghan breaking into tears, whereas Harry can be heard saying, "doing everything he could to protect his family." The trailer was shared hours after Princess Kate and Prince William arrived in the US.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited $157 million show will go on the platform in just a week. Sharing the trailer, Netflix wrote the caption as “Harry & Meghan. A Netflix Global Event. Coming soon, only on Netflix.” The series is believed to have six episodes and the makers have named it 'Harry and Meghan'.

A bunch of photos and videos depicting the conversation between Harry and Meghan were also seen in the 59-second clip. Meanwhile, during the trailer, Meghan can be seen saying “When the stakes are this high doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”. The trailer also depicts the couple dancing, playing guitar and taking selfies.




The 59-second trailer starts with a woman's voice where she can be heard asking why the couple wanted to do the documentary before a slideshow of personal photos begins. The trailer also contains several unseen pictures of pregnant Meghan showing off her baby bump. It is expected that the series will give an insight into the couple's love story. Reportedly, the pair requested a delay in the show.

On the other hand, a Netflix spokesperson, said, "In an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story."
