Glastonbury Festival 2024: Artists you can expect to headline next year
Glastonbury Festival's organizer Emily Eavis has revealed that a major American artist can be expected to headline next year. While the identity has not been revealed, one can expect that it could be two female artists. The festival is also taking...

While keeping the artist's identity under wraps, Eavis expressed her intention to secure two female headliners for the upcoming festival. Furthermore, she revealed that the "legend slot," which effectively serves as a fourth headliner, has already been filled by a female act.
This revelation comes after Eavis' recent social media post praising Madonna's impressive live show, sparking speculation about the iconic artist's potential involvement in the festival.
Eavis shed light on the booking process, emphasizing her interactions with agents or managers who present available artists for consideration.
While she did not confirm Madonna as the American artist in question, Eavis expressed her longstanding desire to have the Queen of Pop perform at Glastonbury.
Earlier this year, there was widespread speculation that Taylor Swift might take the coveted Pyramid Stage, but she subsequently scheduled other gigs coinciding with the traditional Glastonbury weekend. This fueled speculation about Madonna's potential involvement, alongside other favorites like Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and the Spice Girls.
Addressing the criticism faced for this year's all-male headliners, Eavis affirmed her commitment to gender-balanced line-ups. She disclosed that a female headliner had been initially booked for 2023 but had to withdraw, leading to Guns 'N Roses stepping in. Eavis emphasized her efforts to foster a more balanced and diverse bill, particularly in terms of gender representation.
Looking ahead, Eavis expressed hope in unveiling the full line-up at the beginning of the next year, with tickets set to go on sale in November at £360.
