Glastonbury Festival 2023: Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses, Elton John, LIL NAS X, Lana Del Ray, and a ‘Mysterious artist’

Glastonbury Festival 2023 will be held in June 2023. It will be a five-day festival of contemporary music and arts in Pilton, Somerset, England. This year’s music line-up promises talented artist acts such as the Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses, Elton John, LIL NAS X, Lana Del Ray, Rick Astley, and more.

The Glastonbury Festival this year will be held from Wednesday, June 21, 2023 to Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Apart from the aforementioned music acts, there will be the Chemical Brothers, Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Texas, Skepta, Caroline Polachek and Digga D, which are some of the new names added to the Glastonbury Festival.


This June weekend will be eventful because of the Glastonbury Festival. The other names playing at the popular festival include Lizzo, and then Maisie Peters and Sophie Ellis-Bextor; as also The Master Musicians of Joujouka, as well as “mysterious addition” of virtually unknown artist The ChurnUps.

More artists are Dermot Kennedy, Krept & Konan, Japanese Breakfast, the Lightning Seeds, the Hives, Ben Howard, the Unthanks, the Lathums, the Teskey Brothers, and the Joy.

The supergroup called ‘Generation Sex’ will also play at Glastonbury, featuring Billy Idol and Tony James of Generation X, and Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones with drummer Paul Cook.

Fatboy Slim returns

Glastonbury favourite Fatboy Slim will return to headline a slot, supported by Leftfield and a new, to be announced band. Tinariwen, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Viagra Boys will play alongside.

Former Spice Girl Melanie C and former Scissor Sister Jake Shears will also perform at the festival, along with Laura Mvula, the Damned, etc.

Skindred and supergroup Empire State Bastard will rock one stage, while Richard Thompson, Steve Earle, Rickie Lee Jones, etc. will sing on another.
