Glastonbury 2023: Sir Elton John to host Pyramid stage. Check date, key details
Sir Elton John will headline the Glastonbury Festival next summer, marking the final UK leg of his farewell tour.

The artist will headline the Pyramid Stage on Sunday, 25 June, and has guaranteed Sir Elton launched his 350-date Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour more than five years ago.
It was supposed to finish in 2021, allowing the 75-year-old more time to spend with his young family, but many dates had to be delayed due to the Covid epidemic and the singer's hip ailment from an accident.
He had just finished the tour's US leg with a three-night stay at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium, where he solidified his celebrity status with two memorable performances in a sequined Dodgers Baseball outfit in 1975.
That kit reappeared for his farewell US show, where he performed songs like Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Your Song, and Philadelphia Freedom. Star guests Kiki Dee, Dua Lipa and Brandi Carlile, sang on the Pnau remix of Cold Heart, introducing Sir Elton to a new generation of fans last year. His Glastonbury show will be full of surprises.
At the same time, the BBC's Glastonbury webcam showed a rocket ship flying above the Pyramid stage.
