Giovanni Pernice announces new BBC series with Anton Du Beke

Giovanni Pernice announced a new TV show with Strictly Come Dancing's judge Anton Du Bekeaway, away from the ballroom. In past seasons Giovanni Pernice has been a judges’ favourite, and he reached the final with Faye Tozer as well as Debbie McGee.

Giovanni Pernice won the Glitterball trophy with Rose Ayling-Ellis, the EastEnders star, at the end of last year. In the show's latest series, he made an early exit earlier this month. However, he scored high with the judges for his Quickstep a week before his departure. But, he and his partner Richie Anderson still got voted out of the competition when they lost the dance-off to Vito Coppola and Fleur East.




Anton Du Beke is still on the judging panel of Strictly Come Dancing. He also won a National Television Award for Best Talent Show Judge.

New TV Show Coming Up

Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice revealed details of their new series named, ' Adventures in Sicily'. It’s teaser was posted by Giovanni on Instagram on Wednesday. Giovanni Pernice revealed a clip from filming and wrote, "Finally, we can share this." He also said, "It's official!! #AdventuresinSicily is coming!"


Giovanni Pernice also stated that this had been a dream project. He and Anton Du Beke were going to be in his home in Sicily, laughing, dancing, and having a great time. Giovanni Pernice said he could not wait for UK viewers to share the show's journey.
