Former ITV Coronation Street star Chris Fountain was left 'speaking like a toddler' after suffering mini-stroke
Chris Fountain, well known for his roles in Coronation Street as Tommy Duckworth and Justin Burton in Hollyoaks, has revealed that he had a minor stroke earlier in 2022. The blood clot that triggered the stroke was 'like a ticking bomb.'

In an interview, Fountain, who played Tommy Duckworth in Coronation Street between 2011 and 2013 and Justin Burton in Hollyoaks, opened up about his experience in an interview.
According to the actor, doctors informed him that he had suffered a transient ischemic attack (also known as a mini-stroke), caused by a blood clot in his brain. He said he spent five days in a London hospital after waking up unable to speak properly at home in August.
Fountain stated that when physicians informed him of what had occurred, he felt distraught and sobbed.
