Former Disney star Orlando Brown gets arrested on domestic violence charges in Ohio

Former Disney star Orlando Brown was taken into custody on Thursday on charges of domestic violence in Ohio.
The star of ‘That's So Raven’ was sent to jail by Lima, Ohio, authorities on charges of domestic violence, inducing fear of impending physical injury by use of force.

According to the Lima Police Department, officers were dispatched early morning on Thursday after receiving allegations of a fight taking place in the 400 block of Baxter Street in Lima. Cops discovered Brown and a family member engaged in a domestic altercation when they arrived at the Baxter Street House.


According to the police report, Brown spent the last two weeks living with his brother. His brother told police that Brown allegedly threatened him with a hammer and a knife. Officers also found the hammer and knife that were allegedly used in the attack.


The 35-year-old was arrested four years after making headlines for an interview with Dr. Phil McGraw. His visit to "Dr. Phil" occurred at the closure of a turbulent year. During that year, he was detained almost every other month for offenses ranging from drug possession and burglary to resisting a public official and domestic assault.

In May of the same year, he also gained notoriety for having a tattoo of the face of his former co-star Raven Symoné on his breast. The rapper also served time in prison in September 2018 after entering a no-contest plea to drug possession. He also served time in jail for attempting to alter the locks of his friend's restaurant doors.

Despite his legal troubles, he has continued to work in music and has a few acting and voice acting credits to his name.
