Solomon was a Derby academy prospect. He played in their FA Cup loss against Chorley when the Rams put out a young team having been ravaged by Covid back in 2021. Solomon, who is a part-time model, now plays his football in America for the University of New Hampshire. He will now be a part of the Love Island crew, where he will be looking for romance along with the rest of the contestants.
“Harrison couldn’t arrive in the villa at a better time, as all the promising early couples are looking fractured, and it’s looking likely he’ll have heads swivelling,” a source told the Sun.
I am excited; I just want to go in there. Solomon
Speaking about the villa, Solomon said, "I’m [excited] – I just want to get in there,” he said. “I’m buzzing to go in. There are a lot of girls in there that are my type; it could get a little busy, honestly.
“Personality is a big thing, so it depends who I vibe with in there. I’m not here to make friends. If the girl is for me, I’m going to grab that. That’s no issue. I’m in there for myself at the end of the day. I need someone who is fiery and has a bit of an attitude,” he said.
Solomon joined Derby at under-9s level and, as well as playing for the Rams, enjoyed time on loan at Ilkeston. His only senior appearance came in the FA Cup clash against Chorley, which the non-league side won 2-0. Will Solomon be one half of the winning couple and bag a prize of £50,000 (approximately $67,000), which is split in half?
