Five lions briefly escaped from Sydney's Taronga Zoo, consequently, the zoo authority promptly moved guests and staff to safer places. Due to this 'critical' security breach, the authority has launched an investigation.
Zoo officials noticed in the video footage that an adult lion named ‘Eto’ and four cubs came out of their enclosure around 6.30 am local time on Wednesday.
Soon after, the zoo official imposed a 'Code One' alert to notify everyone about the emergency. Other emergency warnings include code red for fire, code blue for medical emergencies, and code orange for evacuation.
Police were informed at 7 am, whereas the official said that the lions had returned to their enclosure within 2 hours.
