FIFA World Cup 2022: Chelsea remain interested in Portugal's Rafael Leao ahead of January transfer window
Amid the ongoing football WorldCup, interesting news keeps pouring in. Reportedly, Chelsea will make a move to grab the Portuguese attacker Rafael Leao, currently playing for AC Milan. His current contract to set to expire in June. If this happens...

The club has been interested in Leao ever since he made a move from the french club Lille to AC Milan. They are also rather impressed by Leao's performance in the recent Portugal versus Switzerland match on Sunday. Though it was a late entry for Leao, he scored a goal by cutting through his left-hand side, taking the goalie Yann Sommer by surprise. His agility in the game won him a fan in the eyes of the sports gurus Ian Wright and Gary Neville. Neville exclaimed that the attacker's goal was rather strange without a deflection. He also said that it was a brilliant effort on his part to score a goal into the far corner of the net.
Wright went on to explain that the Leao had the perfect composure to strike the ball at the right angle, after swiftly moving past the defender.
If the deal with Chelsea fructifies, Leao will join the team with another newbie, Christopher Nkunka, from RB Leipzig.
On the contrary, other reports suggest Leao could extend his contract with FC Milan. He also described his recent talks with the head as being positive. He added that he will take things to the next step after the World cup.
