FIFA 2022: Wales' World Cup hopes hang by a thread, Iran wins 2-0

It was a treat for all the football fans in Iran when the country's football team scored two late goals in group B of the World Cup 2022 and won against Wales.

With this, Wales suffered the first loss of the game, whereas spectacular goals made by Rouzbeh Cheshmi and Ramin Rezaeian maintained Iran’s chances to remain in the game.

Later in the match, the Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was shown a red card, which gave Iran a man's advantage in the dying minutes of the second half. Hennessey clattered Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi as he sprinted out of his penalty area and failed to clear the ball.
