Ferne McCann has been accused in a newly-leaked voice note of making "disgusting" comments about one of ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins's acid attack victims, media reports said.

The recordings, which feature a woman's voice identifying one of the detained criminal's victims, were leaked by an unidentified Instagram account, the reports said. It now claims that she also made degrading remarks about Sophie Hall, one of the ex-victims of acid attack.

Ferne's boyfriend, Arthur, was sentenced to 20 years in jail for hurling acid into a nightclub and injuring 14 people. He was found guilty of nine counts of actual bodily harm against 14 people, as well as five charges of aggravated bodily harm with intent.


The audio recording of a woman's voice has been posted by an unidentified Instagram user with the following caption: "The victims of acid are being discussed by the genuine Ferne here." The Instagram account claims that Ferne McCann is speaking when she talks about Collins' victim competing in a beauty contest while wearing a dress created from old news articles about the incident, it said.



The Sun reported that she contacted Essex Police last month to see if they could identify the unknown user, who uploaded the disturbing voice notes on Instagram. The account has returned after a brief silence and has announced that it will be publishing more voice notes over the course of the next 24 hours.
