Although there are no FIFA World Cup matches on December 11, football fans can enjoy FA Women's Super League matches on Paramount+. Games that are scheduled on CBS Sports include Manchester City vs Manchester United (at 7:20 am ET on Paramount+), Aston Villa vs Arsenal (at 11:05 am ET on Paramount+), and Chelsea vs Reading (at 2:00 pm ET on CBS Sports Network).

Interestingly, the 2022 FIFA World Cup has witnessed many upsets, including the recent elimination of Portugal. While becoming the first African nation to reach the World Cup semi-finals, Morocco defeated Portugal 1-0 on December 10. This effectively ended Cristiano Ronaldo's dream of lifting a World Cup trophy. Notably, the 37-year-old football star has never scored a goal in the FIFA World Cup knockout stage. After the match, Morocco's manager Walid Regragui revealed he had told the players that they needed to "write history for Africa." He said he was "very proud" of Morocco's players. Portugal's exit also ends the chances of a Ronaldo-Messi final. Argentina has already reached the 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-finals, where they will face Croatia.
