The iconic drummer and musician Fred White passed away on January 1 at the age of just 67 years.
The news of his tragic death was delivered to his fans by his brother, Verdine White. He announced the passing away of Fred White through an official statement.
The statement read, “To dear family, friends, and fans, the White Family is extremely saddened due to the loss of our beloved, talented, and amazing family member, my brother Freddie White.”
The statement further read that Fred joins brothers Monte, Maurice, and Ronald in heaven and shall now drum with the angels. White was a member of the EWF Original 9 and a child protégé, who had made golden records since the age of 16. He was the fourth brother in the family line-up.
