'Falling wardrobe' at Adelphi hotel in Liverpool crushed 21-year-old woman to death
In the early morning, 21-year-old Chole Haynes was found dead at the Adelphi hotel, crushed under a wardrobe.

The wardrobe wasn’t "screwed to the wall":
It was through social media posts that Chole’s mum, Nicola Williams, 49, claimed that the wardrobe that wasn’t "screwed to the wall" fell on top of her daughter and caused her death.The Liverpool Echo reported how she is determined to discover "every detail" of how her daughter, nicknamed 'birdy', lost her life in such a terrible way.
Chole was "drinking shots":
Her mother said that at around 7:40 pm, Chole left Pwllheli and went to a "sort of engagement party" that was happening in the Adelphi hotel. She also said that her friend had taken her to the hotel room to sleep as she had been "drinking shots" and was "drunk". After that, her friend went back out.Chole’s mom further said Chole may have gotten up from bed confused, not knowing where she was, opened the wardrobe’s door thinking of a toilet or a door to go out when the "heavy wardrobe" fell on her, causing her windpipe to crash. Her friend found her like that when he returned.
