The mother of two daughters, this politician was born on April 3, 1980. Her mother, Uma, was born into a Hindu-Tamil family in Mauritius, while her father, Christie Fernandes, is from Goa. Braverman’s mother migrated from Mauritius to the UK, while her father came from Kenya during the 1960s.

The political career of Braverman started in 2005 when she contested the general election from Leicester East and finished in the second position.

Braverman held the position of the Conservative MP for Fareham by winning the election in 2015. She was re-elected in 2017 and then in 2019.
