Suella Braverman is a 42-year-old British politician and the Attorney General serving in the former PM Boris Johnson-led government from 2020 to 2022. She has been a member of the Conservative Party for Fareham in Hampshire since 2015.


Braverman was among those initial contenders who left the position to replace Boris Johnson in the Prime Minister’s post.

The mother of two daughters, this politician was born on April 3, 1980. Her mother, Uma, was born into a Hindu-Tamil family in Mauritius, while her father, Christie Fernandes, is from Goa. Braverman’s mother migrated from Mauritius to the UK, while her father came from Kenya during the 1960s.

What is Suella Braverman’s political career?

The political career of Braverman started in 2005 when she contested the general election from Leicester East and finished in the second position.
