Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has stated that Marcus Rashford is ready to "explode" and "do so much more" for the club after his performance in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Saha said that Rashford would have a lot of confidence following England's campaign in the World Cup.

Rashford netted three times in the tournament before England lost the match against France in the quarter-finals. However, he had made only one start for the Three Lions in the World Cup. At the club level, Rashford has scored eight goals for Manchester United this season. He also has the opportunity to end the season as United's top scorer.

Saha said that Rashford had been a "massive player" for the Three Lions due to his "quality" and "mentality," and he could "explode" in the remainder of the campaign for United this season. He said that United manager Erik ten Hag would have a squad "full of confidence," and Rashford would be one of their "biggest weapons." Saha added that all the players of United had shown the world that they could perform better, and they need to retain that form for the club as well.
