English actor Will Mellor in tears ahead of this week's Strictly Come Dancing routine

English actor Will Mellor, a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, cried upon hearing this week's music because it reminded him of his late father.

With his dance partner, Nancy Xu, he appeared on Loose Women to discuss their success in the competition.

He further explained that when you lose someone, you think the grief is gone, and you can discuss it now, but something occurs, and it grips you, and you can't speak.

The actor revealed that losing his father has changed his thoughted process and motivated d him to seize life.
