Emma Raducanu’s latest injury comes after she ended her 2022 season early due to a wrist injury in October. However, she had kickstarted this year with a 4-6 6-4 6-2 victory over Linda Fruhvirtova of the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
Now, she was preparing for the quarter-final in her first WTA Tour event of 2023 but had to give up due to injuries. But what’s next for the 20-year-old tennis star?
Following the ankle injury, Raducanu had expressed that it was “difficult” to take. She also revealed that she had done a lot of physical work and was feeling optimistic but being stopped due to an ankle injury was “pretty disappointing”.
