Elle Edwards murder case: Two suspects get bail

Two suspects have been granted bail in their alleged connection with Elle Edwards's murder.

A 30-year-old man from Tranmere and a 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry, who were arrested on Monday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, have been granted bail.

The famous social media influencer was shot while celebrating Christmas Eve with her friends and family at Wallasey Pub, United Kingdom.


Edwards's family has referred to her as the most beautiful and bright star while paying tributes.

Edwards, who was one of the biggest fitness freaks and social media stars, was born in 1998 in England. Immediately, after the assailants shot her, officers were called at around 11:50 p.m.



Edwards was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. She received a serious gunshot wound on the head. Police officers reported the shooting also injured four other individuals, one of whom was critically wounded.

Though all her fans and relatives remain shocked by her death, some of her colleagues from the beauty salon Nova studio said they were ‘absolutely out of sight’ following her death. Her admirers said they mourned her loss as the most stunning angel has been won by heaven. They added that thinking about her entire family makes them sad. Her family said she was only just getting started adding Christmas and their family will never be the same again without her as she was the glue that held their big family together.

At a press conference with Edwards' father, Tim, Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs said, they are dedicatedly working to identify and imprison those guilty of Edwards's death.

There was also a 31-year-old man arrested on Thursday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder who still remains in custody and inquiries into the fatal shooting still continue.
