The early 200s fans of Eastenders could not get over how different Jamie Mitchell, played by Jack Ryder, looks after 20 years since he exited the British television program EastEnders.
Ryder joined the show's star cast in 1998 when he was 17. The mechanic with floppy hair took over people's hearts in no time. Jamie Mitchell's character was killed in a heart-wrenching scene in 2022 during the Christmas episodes. Ryder, hence, left the show in December 2002.
Jack Ryder, now 41, took to Instagram to share his picture. Wearing a classic pepper beard and pairing it with a plaid shirt, the actor looked dapper in the photo. Fans, however, can't stop wondering how different Ryder looks from Mitchell of the Albert Square world.
In July, Jack remembered Eastenders and posted a picture with the caption, "20 years since my exit. I owe everyone who loved the character and gave me the opportunity".
