The Prince and Princess of Wales will be travelling to the US city of Boston this week for the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony. Billie Eilish, Beyonce, and Finneas will be performing at the awards ceremony at MGM Music Hall in Fenway on Friday.

What is the Earthshot Prize?
In the same vein that President John F Kenedy began the "Moonshot" challenge to encourage people to go to the moon, Prince William started the Earthshot prize.
In this decade, the prize's objective would be to promote solutions for a cleaner world. The winners get funding of £1 million to support their innovations. Five categories are there to compete (1) The restoration and protection of nature, (2) air cleanliness, (3) ocean revival, (4) waste-free living, and (5) climate action. Fifteen finalists compete for the five categories in this year's ceremony, with the awards beginning last year.
There are finalists from the UK as well this year, and they are
(1) Notpla Hard Material: This is a start-up headed by Pierre Paslier and Rodrigo Garcia Gonzalez from London, having created packaging made from seaweed and plants as an alternative to plastic.

(2) Low Carbon Materials: they have created unrecyclable plastic waste manufactured concrete blocks carbon zero, avoiding carbon footprint.
