Dutch Crown Princess Catharina-Amalia who had joined the University of Amsterdam, hoping to lead a usual student life from September onwards, was forced to move out of her student accommodation fearing an attack or kidnapping attempt.
The Dutch King and Queen have informed that their daughter's security had to be upgraded due to fear of her being kidnapped or attacked.
On a visit to Sweden, King Willem-Alexander informed that, as a father, he was apprehensive and faced a difficult situation when it came to his 18-year-old daughter. Queen Maxima reported that Princess Amalia had to sacrifice a lot due to criminal gangs' threat to her life.
