Hugh Grosvenor who is the Duke of West Minister arrived in a green Land Rover waved to the crowd that had gathered outside the marriage venue. Miss Henson traveled with her father in a vintage Bentley. Thousands of people lined up the streets of Chester to catch a glimpse of the couple. Prince William arrived and acted as an usher at the wedding. In total, there were 400 guests who attended the wedding.

The ceremony began at the Chester Cathedral at mid day with the Dean of Chester, the Very Reverand Dr Tim Stratford leading the services. The choir was conducted by Philip Rushforth. After the ceremony, the couple went back to Easton Estate, where they hosted a private event for certain guests.
