Ireland Police are investing the deaths of a teenager and her two younger siblings, aged 8, occurred due to a fierce incident in Dublin. The 'violent and traumatic incident' occurred at a home in Tallaght.
Police reached a property situated in the Rossfield Estate in the Tallaght region of Dublin at around 12.30 am on Sunday.
Two children and the teenage girl were taken to Children’s Health Ireland in Crumlin in an ambulance, but soon all three were pronounced dead.
Related to this incident, a teenage boy was also rescued from the accident scene and admitted to Tallaght Hospital. The boy has some serious injuries that seem not to be life-threatening.
Gardai have described the incident as ‘violent, challenging and traumatic’ however not shared further details about what exactly happened.

Just 470 COVID-19 cases were registered in the last 24 hours, down from thousands of daily infections late last year, but the share of people infected with the British variant is on the rise. Till now, the Garda Armed Support Unit arrested a man in his early 20 with the help of non-lethal devices connected to the incident. The suspect is now held up at the custody of Tallaght Garda Station as he is charged under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act of 1984.
The mother of three girls was also taken to Crumlin’s Children’s Health Ireland to receive medical treatment. However, it has come to know that she was not injured there.
Gardai published a statement saying that it is believed that everyone involved in this incident is known to each other. Police officers are not searching for anyone else further involved in the incident.
The incident scene at the Rossfield Estate has been sealed off since the Garda Technical Bureau will conduct a forensic investigation on Sunday.

The offices of the State Pathologist and the Coroner’s Office have been notified while the post-mortem examination of the incident is yet to take place. Gardai also added that a family liaison officer has been assigned to support those involved in this case.
