The Official U.K. Albums Chart will unveil the final rankings on Friday, October 13.
Canadian hip-hop sensation Drake is storming the U.K. charts with his latest release, "For All The Dogs," courtesy of OVO/Republic Records. Drake is currently leading the midweek chart and appears poised to secure his sixth U.K. No. 1 album, marking his second chart-topper in less than a year, following 2022's collaborative project "Her Loss" with 21 Savage.

Drake's highly anticipated eighth solo studio album, which faced numerous teases and delays over nearly 10 months, dropped last Friday, October 6. Spanning 23 tracks, the LP features guest appearances from notable artists such as SZA, J. Cole, Chief Keef, Sexyy Red, Snoop Dogg, Sade, Teezo Touchdown, Bad Bunny, Yeat, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. His previous U.K. chart-toppers include "Views" (2016), "Scorpion" (2018), "Dark Lane Demo Tapes" (2020), and "Certified Lover Boy" (2021). His last solo full-length release, "Honestly, Nevermind," peaked at No. 2 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart in June 2022.

Nines is aiming for a No. 2 debut on the national survey with "Crop Circle 3" (Zino). If it maintains its course, "Crop Circle 3" will become the British rapper's second top 10 album in less than six months, following the No. 2 success of "Crop Circle 2" in May.

Roger Waters' "Dark Side of the Moon Redux" (Cooking Vinyl) has made an appearance on the midweek chart and is poised to enter at No. 3. This reissue commemorates the legacy of Pink Floyd's masterpiece "Dark Side Of The Moon" from 1973, which has spent 560 weeks on the national chart and is considered one of the most successful British albums of all time. Despite Pink Floyd having six U.K. No. 1 albums, "Dark Side" peaked at No. 2 in 1973.

The Official Chart Update's top four also includes Sufjan Stevens' "Javelin" (Asthmatic Kitty). If it secures the No. 4 spot, it would mark a career-best chart position for the veteran U.S. indie singer and songwriter, surpassing the No. 6 achieved with "Carrie & Lowell" in 2015.

Lastly, Joel Corry's "Another Friday Night" (Atlantic) is poised for a new peak position, climbing from 45 to 6 on the chart. Additionally, new releases from Stornoway ("Dig The Mountain!" at No. 14 via Cooking Vinyl), MC Slim ("Still Working 2" at No. 16 via Warner Records), and Joe Bonamassa ("Blues Deluxe: Volume 2" at No. 19 via Provogue) are expected to secure top 40 debuts on the U.K. charts.
