Doc Martin: When is the final episode going to be aired on TV?

Doc Martin's final season is ending, viewers will still get one more episode around Christmas. Following the event, there will be a documentary with the title ‘Doc Martin’ - A Celebration.

The documentary, which is directed by Stuart Orme and produced by Evie-Bergson-Korn, will explore the incredible longevity and effect of Doc Martin over the years, both locally and globally, as well as it will give viewers a peek behind the scenes of the final season with the cast and crew.

Martin Clunes remarked on ending the series: 'It felt so proper for everybody involved. We would adore to move to Cornwall and work there. However, we are unable to perform every task there.'




He added, 'With this many series already produced, it felt as if we would be duplicating ourselves if we tried to come up with new stories, not just for the individual characters but also for the series as a whole and their adventures through it.'

'I will never have a job as nice as this again,' he continued, referring to the positive effects it has had on his family as well as the pure delight of living outside of a metropolis.
