James Gunn has revealed that upcoming DC films will include both lesser-known and well-known characters.

While responding to fan questions on Twitter, James Gunn, who is the new co-CEO of DC Films, has stated that he would balance minor characters from DC Comics with the DCU's big superheroes. When a Twitter user asked Gunn whether he would prioritise the established Justice League superheroes or work with less-popular DC characters, the new co-CEO said they would work on both of them.
Gunn said that they would focus on "some lesser-known" and "most well-known" characters simultaneously. Gunn is renowned for working on those characters, which are not well-known. While directing for Marvel Studios, Gunn made the characters of "Guardians of the Galaxy" famous.
