Daughter of 'Happy Face' serial killer reveals abusive letter sent by father from Oregon prison

The daughter of the dreaded 'Happy Face' serial killer has revealed on TikTok the 'cruel' letters her father writes her from prison. Between 1990 and 1995, Keith Hunter Jesperson murdered at least eight women. However, he claims to have murdered as many as 185 people.

Melissa Moore disclosed that she had received a letter from her incarcerated father that read, "I never stopped loving you".

She uploaded the video to her TikTok account, @lifeafterhappyface, where it has received eight million views. However, not every one of his emails has been kind.


The 43-year-old woman, who got married earlier this year, reported that her father sent a photo from her Instagram post commemorating her wedding day.

Due to the smiley face he drew on letters he sent to the media and police, Jesperson gained the moniker "Happy Face Killer". His heinous deeds profoundly influenced his daughter, who has been on popular television programs such as Dr Phil and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

She stated that her childhood experiences prompted her to seek counselling, but not enough.
