Dartford crossing closed after two 'Just Stop Oil' activists climb Queen Elizabeth II bridge
Two 'Just Stop Oil' activists climbed the 84-metre mast of Queen Elizabeth II bridge. They demanded that the government pay more attention to the oil projects of the nation and stop climate degradation.

Activists of "Just Stop Oil" climbed onto the cables of the Queen Elizabeth bridge connecting Essex and Kent and closed the bridge. Cops confirmed that the Dartford Crossing was closed off for traffic as the incident happened between 3 to 4 in the morning.
Two people were seen scaling the bridge in the pictures that went viral. It caused a lot of delay for the ongoing traffic.
The two people were identified as Londoners. One of them is the architect of the bridge, Morgan Trowland,39 and the other person is a teacher, Marcus,33. The duo has indicted the government for ignoring climate change and not doing anything to save the planet. The climate group wants the government to stop all new oil projects.
The police said the bridge might remain closed for one more day.
