The Met Office has issued "danger to life" advisories in two regions of England and Wales, advising the people not to travel during Storm Ciarán's unfavorable weather. “We strongly advise customers to avoid traveling on Thursday 2 November and Friday 3 November. Some LNER trains will be running, but there is likely to be major disruption including severe delays, short-notice cancellations and overcrowding,” the operator said.

There are currently yellow warnings in effect for wind and rain in several parts of the UK from Wednesday through Friday.
