The ten-episode limited series 'Monster' follows Jeffrey Dahmer, a real-life serial killer who killed 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.

The series takes place between the 1960s and 1990s, primarily through the eyes of Dahmer's victims. "Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" explores the incompetence of the Wisconsin Police Department during the murders, allowing Dahmer to continue his illicit passion.

Dahmer - Monster: Jeffrey Dahmer's story was created by co-creators Murphy and Ian Brennan. Along with Peter joining the cast are Nisi Nash, Penelope Ann Miller and more. Paris Barclay, Karl Franklin and Janet Mock direct the show. Todd Kubrak, Reilly Smith, David McMillan, and Murphy wrote the first four episodes of the limited series.

Brennan has been working with Murphy for a long time, recently co-producing The Politician for Netflix. Murphy and Brennan also served as co-creators and showrunners on various shows. It will be interesting to see how the duo bring out the serial killer's life on screen.

"Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" premieres on Netflix on Wednesday, September 21. Peters, who appeared in Season 9 of "American Horror Story," will reunite with creator Murphy for a limited series.
