The high court acknowledged the great distress caused to Georgia Harrison by the deliberate action of Bear and awarded her an amount of GBP 2,07,900 in damages, including the special damages. She announced to donate a part of this amount to the charities which have supported her in the legal battle. Georgia also thanked the legal firm for supporting her at a time when she did not have the money to pay for the fees.
Earlier, the court awarded a sentence of 21 months in prison to reality star Bear after finding him guilty of voyeurism. The court also found him guilty on two counts of releasing the photographs and a video with the intention of causing distress to her. He was also given jail terms of six months for count one and nine months for cunt two and both of them will run concurrently. Count one is the charge of voyeurism and count two for sending photographs to someone through WhatsApp.
