Colorado LGBT nightclub shooting: Five dead, 23 injured, and other latest updates here

In yet another mass shooting incident, five people were killed and at least 23 injured when a gunman opened fire on Saturday night at Club Q in Colorado Springs. The Police have taken one individual into custody who they believe may be the suspect.

An unidentified gunman started shooting people indiscriminately on Saturday night at Club Q in Colorado Springs. The incident left five killed and at least 23 injured. The Colorado Springs Police Department mentioned that the first call reporting the incident occurred just before midnight. As part of the investigations, the Police have closed the road where the club is located. However, how the shooting ended is not yet officially known.

The Colorado Springs Fire captain, Mike Smaldino, said 34 fire-fighters and 11 ambulances were put into action immediately after they received multiple emergency calls. Most of the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals.
