Christmas school holidays 2022: Check country-wise dates
The school Christmas holidays will be from December 16 to January 3 in most places. There may be variations depending on where one lives.

It is the Christmas season, and children across the country are eagerly awaiting their Christmas holidays. In most households, the promise of Santa's visit is also ensuring good behaviour in anticipation of gifts.
When are Schools Closing?
Most parents and children are awaiting the announcements of the dates of the Christmas holidays. Most schools close on Friday, December 16. This leaves kids and their parents free to enjoy the holidays to the fullest. The first week of January will be when schools reopen again. Monday, January 2, is a New Year bank holiday, so schools will open on January 3.
Scottish School Dates
It is expected that the Scottish schools will take their Christmas break from the afternoon of Thursday, December 22. The Scottish schools will then reopen on January 4, with January 3 being a Scottish Bank Holiday.
