Ahead of the start of the new series of British television dance contest "Strictly Come Dancing", Christine Lampard, one of the most celebrated contestants in the show’s history, has made a revelation about the show. Christine Lampard has said that the theme tune of the show still haunts her and brings back the memories of herself being a contestant on the show, even after 14 years.

The show is making a comeback on TV with the likes of popular names like Matt Goss, Fleur East, Will Mellor, and Kym Marsh being a part of the lineup. Ahead of the show, Christine teamed up with Dan Walker for the interview, who was the surprise inclusion in last year’s edition. In the interview, Christine said that she could relate to Dan as she too was a contestant on the Strictly Come Dancing show in 2008.





During the interview, Christine Lampard recalled her memories as a participant in the show and her times in the BBC Ballroom. Christine also said that she will never forget the overall experience and fame she received during her stint as a contestant on the show. However, at the same time, the theme song of the show still triggers her even after 14 years of her stint.

When the theme song was played in the studio, Christine said that it was a weird feeling to hear the tune. She added that every time she hears this music, it sends chills down her memory lane. She concluded by saying that participating in the show was like being out of her comfort zone, but that it ended up strengthening her and giving her an incredible lifetime experience.
