BBC Radio 1 presenter Scott Mills ran and walked on a treadmill for 24 hours to raise money for children. The energetic DJ raised more than 1 million pounds at the end of the countdown. He was overjoyed by the outpouring of love and felt he was ready to do it again if more money could be raised.

“The treadmill challenge ended with confetti works, music, and a lot of cheering by celebrities who visited the studio to encourage him. The DJ was helped by Spice Girls Mel C and Radio 2’s Zoe Ball, celebrities. Gemma Collins, Mark Owen, and Louis Theroux were celebrities who provided moral support.

His dancing partner in Strictly Come Dancing, Joane Clifton, recreated the Crab dance. Sam Ryder of Eurovision fame sang a rewritten version of his hit song Spaceman, called Paceman. Time Vine, the comedian, contributed by cracking funny puns to encourage Mills on his quest.
