To much of fans amazement, Roy Keane -former Manchester United captain - has made a surprising career move, shifting from football punditry to fashion modeling for Adidas' latest clothing brand campaign.

The 52-year-old, known for his strong opinions on football, posed with his dog Jet to showcase the sport brand's newest outdoor range. The advertisement features Roy walking his dog in the picturesque Lake District and navigating a boat on the water. Clad in stylish jackets, trousers, and trainers, the football star exudes sophistication, appearing prepared for the upcoming winter months.

After viewing the advertisement, fans took to social media expressing a mix of astonishment and admiration. One individual commented, "Never in my life did I expect to see Roy Keane as a model for fashion. Well played to whoever has managed to convince him to take part." Another said, "Keano and Adidas Spezial, it doesn't get any better." A third fan added, "Legend, looks decent in the new gear."

Echoing the sentiment, another individual expressed, "I love this man." A fifth admirer simply commented, "Class." The Spezial collection is scheduled for release on November 16 through the Adidas app, featuring a range of items such as zip jackets, a beige coat, a gold puffer jacket, outerwear trousers, t-shirts, jogging bottoms, headwear, and a variety of new trainers. Designed by Spezial founder Gary Aspden, a significant portion of the collection is crafted from recycled fabrics.

Talking about his career, Keane who retired in 2006, said: "I played to win from when I was eight or nine years of age. You were literally on the biggest roller coaster of your life. The highs are extreme and the lows... my goodness. But sometimes you have to lose to win."

He added: "The biggest challenge for any sportsperson is actually when your career finishes. You almost know you're never going to reach those highs again but you have to accept that. I'll never get that buzz from anything else in my life. Being in the dressing room winning stuff with good teammates and good players... oh, honestly, it really is amazing. Life's been pretty good to me in terms of my career and my family. I actually have a lot of contentment in my life. That can go sometimes but generally speaking, yeah I am pretty contented."

While Roy Keane embraced his time in front of the camera, recent events highlight a stark contrast as he became the victim of an alleged unprovoked assault. Last month, the star was reportedly headbutted while returning to the Emirates Stadium pitch to analyze Manchester United's defeat at Arsenal. An individual from the public allegedly assaulted the former United midfielder, prompting a police investigation. The Metropolitan Police released a statement confirming the arrest of a 42-year-old man on suspicion of assault.

According to Mirror Football, Keane encountered the alleged assailant at the top of the West Stand as he was heading towards a lift to descend to the pitch-side area. The incident is believed to have occurred shortly after United's Alejandro Garnacho had a goal disallowed in the 88th minute, with the score tied at 1-1. Arsenal secured a 3-1 victory with two late goals in front of their home fans.

After Garnacho's disallowed goal, Keane and his fellow pundits, including Micah Richards, hurried back to the studio for analysis. While waiting for the lift to reach pitch-side, he was allegedly confronted by a fan who reportedly attempted to headbutt him.
