Meghan Markle's maiden appearance as podcast guest
The debate over the HRH titles came into limelight again on April 28 when Meghan, 43, appeared in an episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show.While chatting with Meghan, host of the podcast, Jamie Kern Lima, shared how she had once received a gift basket at her residence from the Duchess of Sussex. While sharing a photograph of it, she showed the note that accompanied the gift. On the note, it was written, “With compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex”.
Among the gift items were a jar of jam and two pints of organic ice cream. The personalized gift was sent by Meghan to Lima more than a year ago.

Meghan Markle and royal arrangements
Talking about their arrangement with the royal family, a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had stated in 2020 that the couple remain members of the royal family, and their titles stay. Also, it was said that they will "no longer actively use" their HRH titles, even though they formally retain it.Insiders close to the California-based couple have rejected the claim that the note by Meghan Markle with her 'HRH' title was a breach of the agreement.
The sources told the British broadcaster that they did not use it for commercial use as the note was sent for a private purpose along with the gift over a year ago.
People magazine stated that it was "not a business move" and just a part of a personal gift from Meghan to her friend.

On the podcast, the IT Cosmetics co-founder shared how the surprise gift from Meghan Markle came to her house at a special time, when she was "super stressed out".This was the time when Lima was witnessing frequent visits from her in-laws and other people. Amidst the busy schedule, Lima got to know that a basket full of ice creams was sent to her by Meghan. For her, it was like Meghan was "in my shoes" and understanding her feelings even when she did not feel the need to tell her anything.
Lima further praised Meghan, stating that she has added value to her life.
