People always think of the unthinkable coming to reality, when it comes to Dubai.
The city has decided to come up with a ring around 'Burj Khalifa' to enhance its charm.
The proposed ring is going to be erected above 500 metres from the ground and will provide a 360-degree view of the city from the air. The ring would completely encircle the Burj Khalifa and would have a central spine that would lift transport pods to the ring. It is being referred to as the downtown circle project and is creating a lot of interest in architectural circles. The sphere is going to have a circumference of 3000 metres and would be fed by clean air from the central spine, which would also hold the sphere in place.
Public, commercial, and cultural programmes could be held in the sphere. The sphere would include houses and offices, as well as a nature walk that would be illuminated by natural light.Visitors and residents would be treated to a fantastic journey with sand dunes and green plants along their path. Waterfalls, tropical forests, caves, and fruit trees would all be a part of this wonderful green ecosystem.
