BTS members to undergo Military services in South Korea, confirms K-Pop band's management

As per the regulatory filing, BTS band's members will also serve mandatory military duty per their plans. Hybe, BTS’ management group, confirmed the news on Monday.

All seven members of BTS, the renowned K-Pop band, will undergo Military services in South Korea, which is mandatory. The group’s agency manager has confirmed this.

In 2020, the South Korean Parliament passed a bill under which K-Pop stars were allowed to delay participating in military service until they 30.

Jin, 29, the oldest member of the BTS, will be the first to be enlisted for mandatory military service. The other members of BTS are Suga, 29; J-Hope and RM, 28; V and Jimin, 26; and Jungkook, 25. As per the regulatory filing, the other BTS members will also serve mandatory military duty per their plans. Hybe, BTS’ management group, confirmed this news on Monday.
