Retired Hollywood actor, Bruce Willis, has received his Christmas present already in the form of a future grandchild. Rumer Willis, the veteran actor's oldest daughter, is expecting to have her first baby with her boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas.

Although the exact duration of their relationship is still unknown, the young couple recently went Instagram official on November 15.

Bruce Willis, who is known for his roles in Die Hard and Pulp Fiction, retired from acting after he was diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder, this year.


However, he is now said to be very keen to step into his new role as a first-time Grandpa. A source close to the family said, “He is happy about becoming a grandpa. He loves having a big family.”

Rumer Willis is the oldest daughter of Willis and his ex-wife Demi Moore. Willis, who is now living a happily retired life will also be spending the holidays this year with his family.

Both Moore and Willis announced the daughter's pregnancy in a joint Instagram post on December 20.

Individuals diagnosed with aphasia struggle with written and spoken language. The disorder usually occurs due to a brain tumour or a stroke.

The close knit family has helped Bruce transition into retirement and cope with his disorder. With the news of the grandchild on the way, Christmas came early for him.
