Rishi Sunak: 6 British citizens killed
Earlier on Monday, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said in Parliament that "at least" six British citizens have died in the attack. He also said that another 10 people are still missing and expressed fears that some of those unaccounted for were also killed in the attack.

Calling the Hamas attack on southern Israel a 'pogrom', Rishi Sunak said that he supported Tel Aviv's right to defend itself, to go after Hamas, take back hostages and strengthen its security. On the other hand, the British Prime Minister announced to increase the financial aid to the Palestinian people by GBP 10 million. He said that the Palestinian people too are the victims of Hamas and they are facing a humanitarian crisis.
Chaos after Hamas attack
Hamas militants attacked Kibbutz Be'eri where Yahel and her family members were living at that time. Chaos engulfed the Be'eri community when Hamas militants attacked the kibbutz and other parts of southern Israel with rockets at around 06:30 local time on October 7.
In her WhatsApp message sent to other family members, Lianne told them that she could hear gunfire and shouting in Arabic nearby. As she lived close to the Gaza barrier, she was no stranger to security alerts. But she said, "This is a whole other story".
Besides Lianne, her husband's brother Yossi, his wife Nira, and their three daughters were also caught up in the Hamas attack. Yossi and one of his children have been declared as hostages.
