British singer Craig David recounts how back injury took him to terrible place
A back ailment caused British singer Craig David so much suffering that he developed depression, as he has revealed in public.

In an interview, he stated that his world was closing in on him, that he needed to get rid of the anguish, and that he went to a dark place where he did not believe he would survive. He never got to the point where he was considering methods to end things, but he felt that life wasn't worth living and that he would be happier if he wasn't here.
He said that there would be no discomfort and no chance of Bo'Selecta! returning to take him down, alluding to the early 2000s. Francis' series had him wearing celebrity caricature masks, including one of David, Sir Elton John, David Beckham, and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. Later in the conversation, David addressed the impressions, saying they seemed like a vengeance. In a separate interview, the musician stated that he has suffered from depression and has been tormented at school as well as being humiliated and mocked on national television.
