British citizens released by Russian forces in Ukraine after Saudi Arabia's intervention, details inside

After suffering for a long time under the captivation of the Russian troops, British nationals reunited with their families after Saudi Arabia's brokerage between Ukraine and Russia.

According to reports, British nationals kidnapped by Russian-backed forces in Ukraine were returned to the UK. A happy reunion with their families took place for five nationals: Aiden Aslin, Andrew Hill, Dylan Healy, John Harding, and Shaun Pinner.

The family of Dylan Healy was helped by The Presidium Network, a non-profit organisation. Saudi Arabia arranged an agreement between Russia and Ukraine that led to the event.

Dominik Byrne, the co-founder of The Presidium Network, said that all men were looking forward to having a normal life again. Lil Truss expressed gratitude to Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Saudi Arabia for their tireless efforts to free the detainees. He criticised Russia for the ill-treatment of civilians captured as prisoners of war.

The Prisoner Swap between Russia and the UK

The release of prisoners was the largest since the war and was an unpredictable event.
There was a prisoner swap between Russia and Ukraine brokered by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The swap included 300 people, out of which 10 were foreigners and commanders.
The UK's Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly, stated that the release ended the prisoners' suffering and that their families.
