James Corden was barred from entering New York's Balthazar restaurant in Soho, Manhattan, for his uncivilised behaviour. Corden shouted like crazy at the staff for what seemed to be an accidental slip in serving the actor's ordered item. An Instagram post shared by the restaurant owner mentions two incidents of the bad behaviour of Corden.
The two incidents
The first one was in June when Corden pointed out a hair strand after finishing the main course. Corden threatened the apologetic manager about going public with the incident with bad reviews. He demanded not only additional drinks but wanted the restaurant to care of the drink bill. The second incident happened on October 9 when a tiny bit of egg white got mixed up with the egg-yolk omelette ordered by Corden’s wife. The kitchen immediately remade the dish but served it with fries instead of salad as ordered. Again, the actor was furious and shouted indecently at the staff.
The second chance
The issue, however, was resolved with Corden apologising to the restaurant owner. I strongly believe in second chances, said the happy owner, Keith McNally.FAQs
