The new version of the series would see housemates from all walks of life. They would live together for six weeks in the public eye while the surveillance cameras would monitor every aspect of their lives.
The series shows live evictions based on public voting. Moreover, the winner is also voted in by the public's opinion as contestants are voted out week after week.

Speaking about the show, Paul Mortimer, controller of IT V2, CITV, and ITVBe and director of reality commissioning and acquisitions, said that this season would be a refreshed version of the show. It would follow the same format as the popular show. However, the look and feel of the series would be different. Moreover, there would be additional thrilling twists that modern audiences would relate to.
Big Brother had a celebrity version and a "common man" version. While IT V2 has promised the return of the common man version of the show, the news on the celebrity version is unclear.
Big Brother is a reality TV show wherein participants do not have access to the outside world. The target is simple – the housemates compete with one another to win the grand cash prize. The competition is based on their popularity and public connection since the public vote for their favorite housemate. The contestant with the most votes stays in the game and goes on to win the prize.
