Beresford Hotel surrounded with police, ambulances over reports of ‘medical incident’

Following reports of a "medical incident", the Newquay Beresford Hotel has requested the assistance of local emergency services. Guests at the hotel have reported seeing medical workers wearing full white uniforms and masks. These individuals were located within the hotel.

This afternoon at 12:30, Devon and Cornwall Police personnel were seen inside and outside the Narrowcliff hotel.

Witnesses report seeing medical personnel inside the hotel dressed in "complete white uniforms and masks." These individuals were reportedly wearing protective gear.


In addition, Cornwall Live said they saw a testing vehicle from the NHS parked outside the hotel for most of Thursday.

According to a South West Ambulance Service's public relations team member, the incident occurred around 11:36 in the morning.
