Sue Barker appears to have confirmed that another regular BBC Sport presenter will preside over next year's Wimbledon coverage after she resigned from the post earlier this year.

Sue Barker, who stepped down as the BBC's head of live sports broadcasting earlier this year, appears to have disclosed who will take over coverage of Wimbledon when it returns in 2023.
Barker appeared to announce that Clare Balding, another frequent BBC sports broadcaster, will take over as Wimbledon’s principal presenter. She stated that leaving Wimbledon is great after receiving the lifetime achievement award at the BT Sport Action Woman Awards earlier this week. She has a lifelong passion for it.

It is to mention that the BBC has not publicly confirmed Clare Balding as Sue Barker's replacement, and when RadioTimes.com inquired, the broadcaster stated that it is not yet in a position to reveal its full Wimbledon lineup. Barker announced her departure from BBC Sports earlier this year, after a 30-year career with the broadcaster.
