Arsenal is seeking to sign Declan Rice with an £80 million agreement and is ‘confident’ that they can beat their Premier League rivals, Chelsea and Manchester United in acquiring the West Ham star. Declan Rice is the top choice for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and it could become a record signing surpassing the £75 that the club paid for Nicolas Pepe if the deal is achieved.
Declan Rice is understood to take the centre stage in the bidding as he appears to be open for a summer move. Arteta has been eager to strengthen his midfield options for a considerable amount of time now and West Ham captain, Declan Rice, 24, is an ideal choice as he has both domestic and international experience.
The Times had reported that Rice has been made Arsenal’s “top target this summer” and the club believes it is in a better position to land him as it is leading the Premier League.
